Project Description
Is a Sky Water Slide too good to be true?
My campaign for Earth Month made a splash.
I wanted to find a creative way to kick off Earth Month at 360 CHICAGO, so I mustered all of my limited Photoshop skills into a passable rendering of a 1,000-foot tall “sky water slide.” Surprisingly, the posts were taken seriously enough to gain some traction.
Announcement of the slide marked the start of a month-long campaign to raise funds for the Alliance for the Great Lakes, a non-profit focused on protecting and maintaining the fragile ecosystem of the Great Lakes. Visitors to 360chicago.com could read educational materials about lake conservation, donate money directly, or sign up for beach cleanups.
360 Sky Slide
Social media posts announcing the slide received 551,114 impressions and 82,042 engagements
Corresponding landing page received 5,191 page views in April, making it the fourth-most viewed page on 360chicago.com
